Take a film set in the ‘30s and create a design concept to appeal to the fans and families nationally and in London.
OUR APPROACH
For the major revival of Bugsy Malone at the Lyric Hammersmith, Boom Live launched the campaign with a logo-based concept conveying the essence of the theatre’s location in urban Hammersmith with the glitz and glamour of the show’s period setting. With casting complete, Boom Live set about creating a concept which would include as many of the 21 cast as possible and make for a hard hitting, energetic and inspiring design – cue ‘running concept’. This bold photography set the tone, period, energy and fearless feel of the production and most importantly placed the young cast centre stage. To make the most of the high impact ‘running creative’, Boom Live booked large urban outdoor sites across West London, which ensured that Bugsy was the talk of the town.
RESULTS
- The raw energy and passion of 21 children captured in a 2 hour photoshoot.
- Image captured in 15 seconds.
- 2 million eyeballs have seen the campaign to date.
